  2.  This menu defines the type of mail systems you will use. This in turn
  3.  controls the type of menu options See Mail will display for you.
  4.  
  5.  o  MCI only  -  PC's with their own modem for direct dialing to MCI.
  6.  
  7.  o  LAN only  -  office network environment with no modems.
  8.  
  9.  o  Both      -  office network environment where user(s) have individual
  10.                  modem(s) for MCI access.
  11.  
  12.  o  LAN with REMS - this requires the optional REMS access pack, available
  13.                     as a separate diskette.

  15.     LAN with REMS allows an office network to SHARE a central modem and
  16.     MCI mail account. See Mail then takes care of sending and receiving
  17.     the MCI mail via the network. To use this, if you are installing for
  18.     the FIRST time, select the BOTH option so that you can configure your
  19.     LAN and your MCI Mail together.

  21.     End-users on your network can then be configured using the LAN with REMS
  22.     option, as they do NOT need the MCI mail options. (All REMS mail is sent
  23.     through the shared modem and MCI Mail account).
